Nelco’s Great Tax (www.taxforms.com) professional preparation software for individual and business compliance is offering several new features, a few new tools and more templates. New features and tools include a new refund calculator, a new e-file center and a Tax Planner add-on module for comparing “what-if” scenarios. Other additions to Great Tax for this year include the following:
An always-accessible summary pane that includes the client’s tax rate
The ability to save returns as *.PDF files
New city forms for OH, PA and MI, and automated school district and county code completion
New federal business systems for RI and DC
More letter templates that include more customizability
Cathy LaViolette, Senior Product Manager for Nelco, said the company focuses development on enhancements that save customers time. “The new School District feature in Great Tax will be a great timesaver when entering returns because it automatically pulls school district and county codes when you enter the ZIP code on the return.” She also noted that the addition of support for duplex printing will save time for many customers when printing returns.
